Building reliable & scalable systems,
one commit at a time.

I’m a Computer Science student at the University of Surrey who enjoys taking ideas from concept to production-style code. I like building things that are fast, reliable, and maintainable – from web apps and backends to self-hosted services.

About & core skills

A snapshot of how I think about engineering, the tech I use day-to-day, and the experience I’ve built so far.

I’ve been obsessed with computers since I was around 10, starting with scripting and game dev, then moving into web development, networking, and self-hosted services. I enjoy solving real problems – from automating workflows to keeping machines secure and compliant.

Alongside university, I’ve done online contract programming work – integrating APIs and writing Lua, Python and JavaScript for clients – and I manage IT for a financial services company, including Microsoft Intune and CyberEssentials certification.

Before Surrey, I followed a computing-heavy path through school and college, including GCSE Computer Science (grade 8) and Digital Information Technology (Distinction), plus a lot of self-taught networking and Docker at home.

Journey in code

Key milestones that shaped how I write code, design systems, and work with people.

2023 – Present Guildford · Surrey

BSc Computer Science · University of Surrey

Studying algorithms, data structures, systems and software engineering while building projects that go beyond the bare minimum – focusing on clean code, version control and realistic architectures.

Nov 2022 – Present Remote · Contract

Online Contract Programmer

Delivering code for clients using Lua, Python and JavaScript – integrating APIs, adding features, and debugging production issues. Learned to communicate clearly with non-technical people and ship on time.

Nov 2022 – Present Reliance Wealth Management

IT Manager · Infrastructure & Compliance

Managing the IT estate using Microsoft Intune, keeping devices secure and compliant, and supporting annual CyberEssentials certification. Hands-on with updates, device policies, and troubleshooting.

Feb 2018 – Present Roblox Platform

Lead Developer & Community Management

Created and maintained a Roblox game, led a small dev team, shipped weekly updates and handled community feedback. Learned leadership, scope management and how to iterate on features quickly.

June 2024 AJW Group

Work Experience · Aviation Logistics

One-week placement learning about project management, time management and presentations, plus exposure to how large businesses scope and deliver new projects.
