Artificial intelliugence has been able to have incredible advancements in recent history due to the more availavle computing power from technological advancements; here are some of them.

Larger Nural Networks

Deep learning, a subfield of AI, relies on neural networks with many layers; this is how they learn. With greater computing power, it's now possible to train much larger and deeper neural networks such as the big leap between GPT 3 and 4.

Faster Training Times

More powerful hardware such as GPUs and CPUs allow the AI to take less time in learn from data. This accelerated training allows researchers to experiment more rapidly and iterate on model architectures and techniques which allows more advancements with AI.

Big data

Lots of data is really important for AI as this is the foundatation for Artificial Intelligence, this is how they learn. More computing power enables AI systems to process and analyze large datasets making it possible to increase the AI's intelligence with more data it processes.

AI in Creativity

It is incredibly difficult to teach AI creativity but this can only be done with tonnes of data which has only happened because of hardware improvements. AI-generated art, music, and even literature has even gained attention in recent years.

The progression in AI in recent years.
