I’ve been obsessed with computers since I was around 10, starting with scripting and game dev, then moving into web development, networking, and self-hosted services. I enjoy solving real problems – from automating workflows to keeping machines secure and compliant.
Alongside university, I’ve done online contract programming work – integrating APIs and writing Lua, Python and JavaScript for clients – and I manage IT for a financial services company, including Microsoft Intune and CyberEssentials certification.
Before Surrey, I followed a computing-heavy path through school and college, including GCSE Computer Science (grade 8) and Digital Information Technology (Distinction), plus a lot of self-taught networking and Docker at home.
